The internet Tools

The tools that we used this semester I think that it helped get the job done. We used these tools because we needed to accomplish that things that we were set out to do. In my experience I didn't really need the blog. I don't think that I would use it again. I did thought like Deli.icio.us becuase I was able to save website that I needed to go back to, but then I could have used my favorites if the professor didn't need to see them. The wiki I never really thought that we worked with it enough or that It really was necessary. But I did learn many things that could help me in the future.

Research essay

This week I have been Reading My Antonia. And I have been looking at a book I checked out at the library. Also some online research.

How she started out
Where she gets her ideas, types of styles
Some of her accomplishments in American Literature
What kind of influence she made
Conclusion what I learned about her and the changes it made

Research Proposal

I have changed my topic on my literary essay about 5 times and now I am doing it on Willa Cather. I have really found that she is very interesting and I am looking forward on writing my essay on this subject.

I have currently been introduced to some works by Willa Cather, and the more that I read into what she has wrote and things she has accomplished in her lifetime makes me more interested to study into her epic life. I am always fascinated by people who were very much way ahead of their time. People who have goals in mind, who reach it and go way beyond the common goal. Everyone I believe needs to find someone or something that makes an impression on them where one can study and learn from. I want to show people that there are hidden treasures, but you must be able to look in the right directions and learn their certain aspects.
My Mother and Grandmother both introduced me to Willa Cather’s because I think that they knew I would be drawn to her. I am currently reading some of her work "My Antonia" and I am excited about this piece of work. I want to look into her ways of writing, her lifestyle that she lived, and also her history into what made her so much known in the world. I have really looked on the web and found some awesome information, and am wanting to know more.
I have very many aspect of looking into the life of Willa Cather, I am reading one of her novels, looking through other literature other than her books, am searching the web which has a foundation on her behalf. I could also interview my grandmother who I feel has some similarities. All of these ways of collecting my information is going to give me the help that I need to accomplish my essay.

Research Paper

My research paper went pretty good. I still need to work on it a little bit more. My Research proposal is a little hard for me to narrow down. I really enjoyed the book "Queen of the South" by Aurtor Perez Reverta. Im basing it around that book. Not sure what point of view yet. That book is pretty modern, but it is about the drug dealing that went on in North America a little, but mostly Spain.

Field Research

This last week I conducted my field research and I interviewed my teacher Chef Wayne Smith. He is my teacher for nutrition this semester and I thought that this would be a good person to interview. He has been in the food industry all his life, but has been a chef for 25 years. There are many trends that he has seen stay and go. He also is very knowledgeable about a healthy lifestyle, and also lives one and likes to teacher people that right ropes to living a healthy lifestyle. I have got a look into what he thinks, and I was very happy with the results that I have got by interviewing him.

Working on Research

I have really been working on getting all my research done. Just getting ready to write my draft. Everything is starting to come together even though it doesn't seem like it.

Week 8

On my field research I am coming up with questions to ask some of the people who are in the culinary world. I really having got any new information on my subject this week, but I am experiencing some new trends in the food world such as food that is being made to help with our changing culture.
